What an amazing doc**entary! I enjoyed watching this film so very much and I hope I will convince other people to see it. Every year for past 27 years all kinds of people arrive to Oregon for 200 mile relay race from Mt. Hood to the coast. The marathon lasts two days and it seems like loads of fun. The doc**entary focuses on four teams and the race for those teams is about proving that one can run a marathon in spite of your age, shape or mental condition. Dead Jocks in a Box team made me laugh so much and in the same time it was kind of creepy. The team consists of old dudes that are incredibly confident and kind of sleazy. It was weird to watch them hit on young girls and offer free massages. Then there were teams of really out of shape animators:Thunder and Laikaning. They ran the race without any training and were eating junk food the whole time There was a team called R. Bowe and they ran for the memory of a young athlete Ryan Bowe, who died way too young and left a grieving wife and a young son. The story was very touching and emotional. I have to admit that I was on the verge of crying. There was another team called Heart N’ Sole which included Kathy Ryan, who was adviced by her doctors not to run due to a triple bypass and several stents placed in her heart. I was astonished by her strength and also her insanity. She literally risked her life in order to run in the marathon. The story really touched my heart and I saw a lot of people wiping the tears from their face while watching it. I highly recommend seeing this doc**entary, because it will make you laugh and cry. It just proves that if you really want something the only person that stand in your way is you. Bravo to the director Christopher Baaden, he did an excellent job with this film.
