Hockey Courage is a doc**entary about disabled athletes starring Mason Newbold, Adam Page, Kevin Newbold. They play what is basically the game of hockey but on a sled powered by their arms. This is very similar to the sport “murder ball,” which is basketball but with wheelchairs. Many of the athletes that play sled hockey are spina bifida patients. This doc**entary I thought was very good. It was sad at times but very inspiring. The movie mainly follows a few kids who are seen as “stars” of the game. They dedicate many hours per day working out and practicing. The only downside to the movie is that I thought it was very short. I wanted to see more about each of the athletes. Overall I would definitely suggest seeing this movie. It’s one of those movies that inspires you and also shows the power of the human drive.
