This doc**entary is about the descendants of the most powerful figures in the Nazi regime: men and women who were left a legacy that permanently associates them with one of the greatest crimes in history. I thought this was a very powerful doc**entary about guilt, memory, family ties, and identity. The film was very truthful and to the point and it was hard to watch sometimes but I appreciated the raw truth that the filmmakers discovered. The film is well made and the pacing was nice. I did think that the filmmakers had a hard time constructing the conclusive thesis in the end but themes of the film were well researched and examined. Overall, I don’t think it is necessary to see this film in the theaters but you should rent it when it comes out on DVD.
