This film was interesting but i do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters because it is not worth the price of the movie ticket. It is a quiet film and most of what is happening is implied which makes it hard to understand and follow. The film was a bit scattered and I think it suffered from too many ideas and none of them were fully developed. However, the film has an interesting story and some of the themes are very important and intriguing. The film is really beautiful visually and the scenery is truly breathtaking, everything is so lush and full of life and I loved that. The longs shots of the scenery are really beautiful and it gives you an idea what is happening in the world around the characters. What threw me off in this film was when the narrator stepped in and talked about random issues that had nothing to do with the characters, It was well edited but kind of odd. Overall, i think this film will appeal to a very specific audience and it will be misunderstood by most people.
I thought this film was pretty interesting and intriguing but i do not think it is worth the price of the movie ticket, however I suggest renting it. I thought the film was really beautiful visually and the cinematography was kind of dreamy and the music that was mixed into the visuals was amazing but the film did not quite work for some reason. The film is pretty slow and very very long, nothing much happens so if you are not a fan of films like this i suggest you see something else. This film could definitely use more structure and i think the director will learn that and apply it in his next film.
