This is a comedy about a teacher named Scott Voss (Kevin James) who works in a failing high school and who used to be a wrestler in his glory days. As the school tries to save money and eliminate music program Scott tries to help out in an unconventional way. I thought this film was alright but i am not sure if it is worth seeing in the theaters. I had an alright time watching this comedy and laughed out loud couple of times but it was not spectacular and I forgot about it the second I left the theater. Kevin James is a great comedic actor and he pretty much can save any film. I really liked his character in the first half of the film, James created a very likable and realistic guy but the film took a stupid turn in the middle and ruined everything. Overall, I suggest renting this film when it comes out on DVD rather than seeing it in the theater. -
I had a lot of fun watching this film and recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is about a high school teacher who is not very happy with his life until he finds rediscovers his passion for wrestling. At first I thought that there is no way i will like this film, my boyfriend wanted to see it and i gave in. However, the film was funny and sincere and Kevin James definitely made it absolutely amazing, he is such a great comedic actor. I could not believe the turn this film made and I also could not believe how good Kevin James looked, the dude got in shape big time and he looks great. I laughed out loud during this film and that rarely happens nowadays. This film was overall a great viewing experience.
