If you do not enjoy French movies i would not suggest seeing this film, however if you do, I urge you to see this movie, it is absolutely wonderful. I really loved the story and the way it was transformed into a film, the characters were developing throughout the movie in a believable and pleasant way and I really loved the friendship between Ozu and Paloma, it was beautiful. The film is slow paced like most French movies and things develop slowly but with grace and purpose. The film becomes a bit too sad in the end and i wish it was ended on a lighter note but overall I enjoyed watching this film very much.
This is a French film about an 11 year old girl who is planning to commit suicide on her 12th brthday, the film is directed by Mona Achache and stars Josiane Balasko, Garance Le Guillermic and Togo Igawa. The film is very French and if you do not like french film I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I love French films and i enjoyed this film very much. Josiane Balasko did an amazing job with the role and it was a pleasure watching it. The film develops very slowly, i liked that because it was realistic and i got to know all the characters and their nuances.
This is a drama/comedy about a young girl Paloma who decides to kill herself on her twelth birthday, the film is directed by Mona Achache and stars Josiane Balasko, Garance Le Guillermic and Togo Igawa. I absolutely loved this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is very charming ad sad in the same time, the film is very French in a good way(that is if you like French films). Garance Le Guillermic is very good in this role, it is always amazing to me when such young actors do such a beautiful job with their roles. I think that the film is not for everyone, it is very French and sophisticated, I loved it though.
