This movie was great. Even though a lot of people said it was dark and gloomy if you read the book and actually understand it then you would know life doesn\'t get all rosy and peachy as you grow up it gets more complicated and hard. I liked the battle scenes and especially loved the way the wizards arrived at the battle and then battled. I would recommend this movie to anyone that loves to watch and read Harry Potter and i can\'t wait to see the 6th one.

    Hello All,
I saw this one with my daughter and have to say, I got bored with it. It was dark and I found in to be to dark to enjoy the FANTASY. I liked the fact that did not repeat any 'actual' spells. I would not go to see it again.

By far the best movie rendition of Harry Potter with Daniel Radcliffe in his best performance. Clearly performing in London's West End stagework, Equus, has contributed to a stark difference from his performance in Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. This is definitely much darker, more intense and action-packed than the last four movies put together. While rated PG-13, the special effects and the atmosphere of the movie is very intense, borderlining horror film scale. It's still appropriate for youngsters to view, but very young children should view it with parents. The special effects in the wizard and witch battling scene is incredible and masterfully choreagraphed. This is movie is an exciting turn in the Harry Potter saga as Harry realizes the imminent danger of battling Lord Voldermort. Definitely worth the watch.

This movie was well done on its own merit. Graphically capturing the magic and allure of the previous movies, and the fantasy feel and escapism desired by most going to this genre of movie. When compared to the book, things were missed and true Harry fans will read the book as well. Acting was good, although Dark it didnt have the same dindgy feel as the 3rd movie. the three main lead actors are comming into their own and seem to be maturing into their roles. Some may find the storyline and many added characters confusing. This wont win anyone an oscer unless visial effects or costumes are part of it, and it still doesnt have the kid freindly whimsy of the first movie, but this follows the patern of the books, maturing and becoming more dark with each.

This was a great film in my opinion. However, the film did lack key plot points. I would strongly recommend that you read the book first before watching the movie. That way you won't get comfused. But other than that the movie was awsome.

It wasn't as good a the book. (I love the harry potter books). But the thing I liked most was the final battle and how they didn't cut out alot of the book as they ahve in the past movies. I understand that the movie can't go on forever . So over all you HAVE to go see this movie.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was a wonderful book that I thoroughly enjoyed. And so, I thought that the movie would be equally good, and I also thought this because the other movies were excellent. However, the 5th movie was absolutely awful. They left out so much in the movie that would have had a great impact that it was astonishing to me that it wasnt included. Quidditch was overall nonexistant, Harry's anger as protrayed in the book was hardly acted out in the movie, countless things were mixed up (such as when Harry saw into Snape's memory by countering his spell; in the book he looked through the Pensieve while Snape had to leave his office), and the list can go on and on. However, for the things that were included, even though they were not exactly accurate, they were still well-done, and the movie had a comical charm to it that made the fact that they had not fully kept up with the book, long as it was, not so bad.

This movie was really good, but I think they left out some key points from the book that should have been mentioned... all in all this was a great movie and everyone should go and see it.
