this movie is a brilliantly real and optimistic introduction to what it would be like to be grateful for what we have, who we are, and the messes we get ourselves into...thanks mr. radnor for putting out something so positive to remind us of the light in these dark times.
This is an indie comedy about young people living in New York and struggling with their jobs, love life and relationships. I actually thought that the film was pretty good, it did have some moments and scenes that did not work but overall it is an alright film. The characters in the film are well developed and realistic with the exception of the apartments that they live in(there is no way these couples could afford the apartments in New York with the jobs that they have). The actors in the film are very good and I can tell that the director gave them some room to improvise and grow. In conclusion, I liked this film and I do recommend seeing it.
I think it was a wonderful film and I highly recommend seeing it. It is director Josh Radnor’s (How I Met Your Mother) debut and he did very well indeed. The film is simple, relatable, funny and cute. The script is really good and sharp and Radner gives a superb performance that completely blew me away. Malin Akerman gave a very good performance as well and she definitely proved that she is not only a pretty face but also a good actress. One problem I had with the film, and it is a tiny technical problem, is that all the characters live in wonderful apartments while they are not rich and it is definitely not possible in New York. It is not realistic and it bothers me a little bit. Otherwise the film was great and I really enjoyed watching it.
