It’s hard to write anything bad about Happy Feet because it would almost be like kicking a cute kitty. At the same time I have to remember that Happy Feet is just made by men in suits in movie studios meant to make them tons of money. There was not really any substance to the film but it was extremely light hearted. It has lots of guest stars including Robin Williams, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and more. I couldn’t really pay attention to the story because it was minimal. The entire reason for going to see this film is because you want to be light-heartedly entertained for an hour and a half. The visuals were great too. They have really advanced CGI in the last few years since Happy Feet originally came out. All in all this was a decent movie if you are looking to take the family out for a Saturday night movie.

The first Happy Feet was a great feel-good movie and Happy Feet Two didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for anything but a light-hearted, fluff comedy then this isn’t the movie for you. Happy Feet Two’s animation was incredible. It’s amazing to see what computers can do these days. They really took it above and beyond Happy Feet 1. Robin Williams’ voice is very obvious in the movie and that’s a good thing. He does a great job of voicing Ramon. Sofia Vergara also did a great job voicing Carmen. The group of penguins sing and dance in a very similar mannor to Glee. Very fun loving and cheerful. The movie’s songs included a few hits from the 80’s, which were all a joy to watch and listen to have remade for this flick. This movie was cute and all but in reality it was built as a money machine for the movie studies.

I thought that the film was cute but definitely not as good as the previous films. The film looked absolutely amazing, there is no doubt about it but it lacked the charm that the previous film was full off. The first 40 minutes of the film it was hard to understand where the film was going, I think that the filmmakers did not know themselves where the film was going. I liked it much more when Mumble was little, he is all grown up in this film and I have to say much less fun as well. Anyway, the kids will still love this film but the adults will be quite disappointed.

The first Happy Feet was a cute movie, and good. It won the Best Animated Feature Oscar. So why not make a sequel? Well, what if the filmmakers don't really know how to make one. That's what you get in Happy Feet Too. It's as if the filmmakers couldn't really come up with an idea, so they took any idea they could get and threw it in.

Mumbles from the first film has a kid now, Erik. But Erik can't really dance, so he decides to pick up and leave to find his place in the world. This storyline, used in countless other animated films, really needs to be laid to rest at this point. He ends up following a rare flying penguin who spouts self-help nonsense. But soon, there's danger in the form of melting ice. It's not global warming, becuase that might make the film political, but you get the idea. There's a lot happening in this movie, none of it really connected to the other parts.

It also helps if the jokes are funny, and they aren't. Though I did enjoy Matt Damon and Brad Pitt as krill. The dance sequences are also pretty good, but they just can't help the stale plot, boring script bad construction. It's disappointing after the original.

The film is beautiful to watch and it is amazing in 3D, your kids will definitely love it and will love you for taking them to see this film. It is not as good as the first one but it is still cute, it has great music and the characters are as cute as ever, even though I did not like the new characters as much. The scenes where the penguins are dancing are absolutely amazing and it is mind boggling how far animation has come. Overall, this film is great for families and it is a great way to start the Holiday season.

The sequel is disappointing and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. At least the film still looks incredible and you can turn off the sound and just look at the pretty picture. I went to see the film with my sister’s kids and they kind of liked it but they also agreed that the first film was way better (kids are not dummies). I thought that the new characters were not the best and I found them a bit annoying. The soundtrack was whatever, I do not really like pop music so I am biased I guess. Overall, I do not think this film is worth the price of the ticket, however the children will probably like it anyway.

This is a second film about Mumble and his friends, the film is directed by George Miller and stars Elijah Wood, Robin Williams and Pink. It is hard to criticize a movie about cute penguins who can sing but someone have to do it. The film still looks absolutely beautiful but it is missing the main ingredient- charm. I also did not like most of the new characters, they were kind of annoying. The film also felt a bit unenergetic and I had a hard time getting into it. My niece who i took with me liked the film, but she is eight years old and she likes pretty much anything. Overall, if you have nothing better to do you can take your kids to see this film, however do not expect to have a good time.
