very boring--very dull -- a yucky movie in general--don't waste your time--poor actors

This is definitely different from all other action movies in Hollywood. It is amazingly entertaining, interesting, intriguing and overall just awesome. I usually do not like action movies but this one changed my mind altogether about action films. The director spend a lot of time introducing Hanna to the audience and the end result is that you start to really care what will happen to this teenage killing machine. Saoirse Ronan is absolutely amazing and this young actress is definitely something to watch in the future, I loved her in”Atonement” but in this film she is even better. Cate Blachett is incredible as always and i simply adore her. Overall, the acting, the music, action scenes, everything works perfectly together in this film.

I don't know what movie everyone else was watching, but I found this movie to be incredibly dull. It had some nice travelogue shots if you want to see Morocco, Spain or Germany. It also had a mildly intriguing premise, but that's about it for the positives. Now for the negatives. Yes, it did have a lot of action and a thumping musical score, but it was so formulaic it was almost ridiculous, as in here's the action so we're going to pump up the volume right on cue. Watch the man run. Now watch the woman run. Now let's watch them run some more, and let's do it for about 30 seconds or so at a time accompanied by some pounding music. Then let's watch someone get brutally killed. That should be exciting. No, it isn't, especially if you as the viewer don't really care who lives or dies. Just because someone shows up first on the screen and we learn a little about them doesn't mean we identify with them positively. What justifies the main characters killing people who have done nothing wrong just because they got in the way? Why do supposedly highly trained, world class specialists not just shoot someone they want to kill? Do they first have to surround him and try their martial arts skills before finally pulling their guns and charging close enough that he can disarm them with his bare hands? Why can a highly trained agent sit in a room so dusty that she has to brush off the dust and cobwebs, but not notice that someone has just recently moved all over the same room and not left a single footprint or telling mark? There are many more of these logical stupidities, but the worst part is that I noticed them throughout the movie. In other words, the movie kept so little of my attention that my mind wandered to such things. If you're a thinking person or the moral makeup of the lead characters matters to you, then skip this movie. If people running to thumping music and frequent killings are all you care about, give it a try. By the way, if you don't see the cute little ending coming about five minutes ahead of time, then you just weren't even trying.

Joe Wright's resume includes Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, and The Soloist, so I was not expecting much out of Hanna, a fast paced thriller. Well, he's proved me wrong. Hanna is one of the most exciting films I've seen this year, packing great action, music and performances into a great moviegoing experience. Saoirse Ronan (who at the age of 16 has already proven herself to be one of the most talented young actress around) plays the title character, who has been trained to hunt and kill by her ex-CIA dad. She is sent out into a world she doesn't know, and pursued by Cate Blanchett's Marissa. Hanna is an incredibly fast moving film, with great set pieces and a thumping Chemical Brothers score. But what makes it move is the story and actors. Hanna could have easily just been a chase picture, but in the middle of the film, the character ends up hooking up with a family, and seeing this isolated girl interact is fascinating. Eric Bana (as Hanna's father), Blanchett and the rest of the cast are good, but Ronan is awesome. She hasn't stumbled once in her career so far, and it's going to be fun to watch her grow as an actress.

Very cool kick-ass film! I loved every minute of it and definitely recommend seeing it and telling everybody that it is awesome. I was very surprised that the director of this film is Joe Wright, because it is nothing like his previous movies. His previous films were great but definitely not my kind of films, however this one is definitely my cup of tea. The film is packed with amazing action and even better soundtrack. I am a big Chemical Brothers fan and their music was perfect for this film. I really liked the plot of the movie and the acting was amazing as well. Overall, a totally amazing movie that you will not forget for a long time.

Joe Wright has directed many great films that i have enjoyed very much, films like “Atonement”, “Pride and Prejudice”, and “The Soloist”. This is yet another amazing film that is very different from his previous work and nonetheless brilliant. The film is very exciting and beautiful visually and absolutely perfect technically. The way the action scenes are filmed is incredible and I have never seen it presented this way in any other action film. The music that has been chosen for the film is awesome, I am a big fan of Chemical Brothers and I think that they were perfect for this film. Overall, I absolutely loved this film and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters and telling your friends about it. The film was extremely exciting, thrilling and interesting. The film is non stop amazing action that takes you all over the world accompanied with amazing soundtrack and incredible acting. The film is overall perfect and even funny fro time to time, I was amazed and I will most definitely see this film again. Saoirse Ronan is absolutely amazing, she gives such a grown up and well rounded performance that it is hard to believe that she is only 16 years old. This girl is so exciting to watch and i can not wait untill her next film.
