I was disappointed that Will Smith decided that cursing in this movie was the right decision. Movies don't have to curse to be good, just look at Cool Hand Luke and The Dirty Dozen, just a few examples. This movie should have been rated R, since when was the F*** word allowed in pg-13 movies? A lot of kids look up to Will Smith, too bad he made a bad decision. The movie was good otherwise.

I enjoyed the movie and found myself laughing several times during the movie. Definitely worth seeing. As far as the people complaining about taking a small child and it having cursing in it, go to a movie ratings explanation site and LEARN THEM!!! Hanc*** Is one of the best summer movies so far. It's my favorite movie of Will Smiths. I was laughing the whole movie. My favorite part was when Hanc*** shoved that guy's head up that guy's butt. I give Hanc*** 4 stars.

awesome movie! the word 'a******' is used quite alot if you are thinking of taking any little ones. sad moments. wonderful character development. I know of a 5 1/2 year old who saw it and loved it.

caryl sorry to break the news to you but PG13 means parental guidance children under 13 should watch so why did you take them, if you knew it was PG13?

I liked this movie. I think Carly needs to do a little homework before saying crap. Watch the trailer to see what it's about, that way you know it is supposed to be FUNNY! It IS rated PG-13. That means for kids 13 and OLDER. Why would you take a 10 year old kid to a PG-13 movie if your afraid of cuss words? Woth the watch in my opinion!

This movie was pretty cool. It was a very different spin to other superhero movies. I really enjoyed the humor, action, and suprises in the movie. it was a really cool movie. not a real kiddy movie tho. if u want that just walk over to the next theater and watch wall-e.

This is stupid people! You bought the ticket and you decided to take a ten year old to see a movie where there obviously is a drunk superhero! If you really wanted to make sure it was appropriate then you would have read all of these reviews and watched the trailer! Also, I'm sure your ten-year-old son has herd those words before so get over it! It was a good movie and you should just get past the swearing and you cannot do anything about the rating! How does it affect you anyway?

My best friend and i saw it last night, and it was absolutely amazing<3 Neither of us were to enthused in seeing at first, but we were way wrong. This movie had just enough action, and just enough emotion. It wasnt too guy-ish, or too chick-ish. I actually cried at the end. Im seeing again this weekend!(:

I agree that maybe it should've been rated R. It was a little disturbing to watch the curse words fly when there's all these kid's under 10 around. I did like the movie but hoped that it was a little bit more deep and appropriately rated. Not the best SuperHero movie out this summer, Iron Man wins that one-with a close Hulk (less of a SuperHero type) but, don't pass on this one just keep the language in mind when you are taking your kids!!
