I totally dug it! It was faithful to The Green Lantern I have known for decades and Ryan Reynolds didn't just look awesome he nailed the role. The pretty love interest "jumped the shark" a bit but you get used to her and suspend disbelief pretty quickly. I'm so relieved they didn't screw this up!

This was a very uneven film, I loved some parts of it and I absolutely hated the others. Visually the film is truly spectacular, especially the trips to outer space. I really suggest seeing this film in 3D, it will definitely enhance your experience because CGI in this film is absolutely spectacular. I also think that the film was casted perfectly and all the actors did a great job with their roles. i especially liked Ryan Reynolds whose natural charm is perfect for the role of Hal. Now the bad, the film was edited very poorly and it has problems with timing which takes away from the climax. Overall, it is an alright film that could have been great.

Reminded me of Superman in a green suit. Even made constant musical references to the theme song for Superman. Caught the end of Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs and think it would have been more enjoyable. Just my opinion.

This is an action film based on a graphic novel and directed by director Martin Campbell. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Peter Sarsgaard. I saw the film in 3D and I thought that the movie was amazing visually but lacked in the storyline department. It felt that the film was very chaotic and scattered. I can not make up my mind if I liked or hated Ryan Reynolds in this role. At times he did great and I really enjoyed watching him and other times I hated watching him. I definitely liked Peter Sarsgaard, he was really good and added a lot to the fil. Overall, I think it was a mediocare film and I suggest renting it when it comes out on DVD.

I actually liked this film and I recommend seeing it in the theaters if you want to be purely entertained and nothing else. I loved the scenes in the Oa planet, it was stunning visually and the colors of the planet were absolutely amazing, I was very satisfied that I was watching this film in 3D. Ryan Reynolds was good in his role and I enjoyed watching him. I have to admit that some of the scenes did not work, especially the ones with Blake Lively, those two have zero chemistry on the screen. I loved Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond, he gave this movie a good lift . Overall, I enjoyed this film very much and I had a great time watching it.
