"Gracie" resonates with me. My wife and 5 daughters, have to varying degree, been faced with what Gracie experienced in this film. Glass ceilings, mis-perceptions of what girls/young womens roles should be in our society and the world for that matter. The film captured and played this story out very well.
I highly recommend this film as one that should be shown in schools. If one thing came through loud and clear it was that without love, emotional support, caring, and being there for "our girls", they may come to a point, like Gracie, of almost making a very bad and life altering decision that would have made a much different ending to this excellent story. Go see it. It's a darned good movie.
