I think that the film was alright, it is a typical indie flick about relationships and it will appeal to very specific audience. The film is very quiet and weird and even though I like that, most of the people will probably find it too awkward. I do not agree with the director’s choice to narrate the film in a cat’s voice, it was way too annoying and even too weird for me. The couple in the film did not feel like a couple and I did not feel any chemistry in between them. Overall, the film is alright but I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters, renting it would be a much better idea. -
This is a film about relationships and I love these kind of movies. The film is definitely a little bit weird and quirky but I still liked it and I recommend seeing it in the theaters. At first i was not sure if I like this film and it got on my nerves a little bit but after a while I got used to the style of the film and started really enjoying it. I think it was an interesting choice to make a cat narrate the film and at first it was annoying but I understood why the director made that choice. Overall, this film is not for everyone but i suggest seeing it because it is definitely different from everything else that you have seen. -
This is a drama directed by Miranda July and stars Miranda July, Hamish Linklater and David Warshofsky. I am not sure about this film, it was a bit odd for me and I am not sure if I liked it. The director Miranda July stars in the film and i kind of wish she did not because her character is weird and sort of pathetic. I have to admit that she is a pretty good actress but i do not like when directors also have the lead in the film. I have no idea why the film had a talking cat and I think it was definitely not necessary. Overall, i do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters because it is not worth the price of the ticket.
