Fright Night Movie Reviews

This is a horror film about vampires and it is directed by Craig Gillespie and it stars Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and David Tennant. I kind of liked this film and i recommend seeing it in the theaters. I think that the film was scary and funny in the same time, and it is hard to do in a scary movie.I honestly did not think that this film is going to be this good, I was pleasantly surprised. Colin Farrell does an excellent job with his role, I think he is a big part of the success of this film. The only think that I did not like is that the film was shot in 3D, it was completely pointless and even annoying.
Fright Night is a surprisingly good remake of the mid 80s horror film. It had enough humor and scares to keep me entertained, but what was really surprising was Colin Farrell, who, along with his role in Horrible Bosses, seems to have found the fun in his job, and has a great time as the vampire next door.
Charley (Anton Yelchin) thinks his life is awesome (he's left his nerdy past behind and has a new girlfriend), until Jerry (Farrell) moves in next door. Jerry's a vampire (I'm not giving anything away), though in an interesting twist, he's a construction worker in post-recession Vegas, so people disappearing and staying up all night take on a different meeting. When Jerry starts to target Charley, Charley finds the assistance of a magician/fake vampire hunter.
Yelchin is fine as the center of the film, but its the Farrell and the other supporting characters that makes this film move. Farrell is just fun to watch, and it seems like he's really enjoying being the baddie here. Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Charley's nerdy former friend and David Tennant as the magician are also excellent. Marti Noxon, who used to write for Buffy, brings that same tongue in cheek attitude with scares to this film. It's a pleasant surprise at the end of the summer.
I had a lot of fun watching this horror film and I recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film has a pretty good cast including Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and David Tennant. I think that the film was elevated by the performances and i really liked Colin Farell in this film. I saw the movie in 3D and it was great, i do not regret spending the extra cash. The film is thrilling and engaging and that is really all I ask from a good movie, I was interested in the characters and what will happen to them and that says a lot.
I love horror film and i try not to miss any of them in the theaters. I think this film was great and i highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is a little bit dark and sometimes it was hard to see what is exactly going on, otherwise I think that the film was made very well and i enjoyed seeing it in 3D. i think that the film was pure fun and that Colin Farell did a great job with his role, I usually do not like him but this role changed my mind about him. I think this is the best horror film of the summer.
The film is very well made and it is well acted, I had a good time watching it and I recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was scary enough and it was even a bit funny at time, which i really like in horror films. I am not a big fan of vampire films but I quite liked this one, i think that the director chose a superb location to shoot the film and it added a lot to the story. The cinematography was brilliant and i also really liked the makeup. The film was pretty intense and thrilling which is very important to me.
This is a horror film directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and David Tennant. I have not seen the original film that was released in 1985 but I liked this one and I recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was scary and intense and even though i wanted a little bit more of suspense, it kept my attention till the end. I thought it was a little weird because couple of times it looked like the film will end but it did not, other than that i think it was a pretty awesome movie. The cast was great and i even liked Colin Farrel in this film, i usually can not stand him.
