This movie is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen, on top of Facing The Giants and Flywheel! This is what needs to be shown more in Theaters and on TV. It\\\'s true, and to moral standards. There is to much garbage on TV and in Theaters. If you don\\\'t have a heart then you probably won\\\'t like it. Give your heart a test and see for yourself! I bet you have a heart that is caring and loving also!

This movie is wonderful! My husband and I saw it opening night and again that first Sunday. We are going again tomorrow to take my mom. More movies like this, Flywheel and Facing the Giants should be coming out of Hollywood... the Kendrick brothers are really on to something!! Keep it up guys, these are the story lines are what this world needs!!!

My husband and I saw this movie and we both were crying and laughing throuhout the whole movie. I went to see it a 2nd time with my mother-in-law and friends. I am planning to see it a 3rd time with my mother. IT WAS AN AWESOME MOVIE. I loved every actor that played in Fireproof. Hollywood should start making movies like this with real stories that impact peoples lives. I pray that the directors of this movie will continue to make more movies like this. I plan on buying this movie when it comes out on DVD. Facing the Giants was another excellent movie made by the same directors.

A price tag can\'t be placed on a life nor a marriage. Everyone should see this--for the message. MANY people don\'t \"want out.\" They want to see improvement/cha nge in a relationship that\'s been taken for granted and hasn\'t been cultivated. Marriage requires work and works a great deal better when people include God. Please, use the movie to improve a relationship. Seeing the movie is a great way to open the door to some overdue conversation.

My husband and I made a date night out of seeing this movie. We really enjoyed it. No, not the best acting but these people made a movie with a very small budget and the message was loud and clear marriage not only matters but it is work. We have been married for over 25 years and nothing is more valuable to us then our commitment to each other.

This is a perfect date movie for married and unmarried people alike.\r\nAnyti me you have a movie about firemen you know it\'s going to be good. Add a good story with conflict in a relationship, a happy ending, no foul language or gratuitous sex. How can it possibly be bad. \r\nThe story was realistic and the there was a lesson to be learned by all.\r\nThe acting was good but the script had a couple of awkward spots. \r\nI highly recomend everyone to see it. It\'s not very often we can get a movie like this, so take advantage of it while you can.\r\nIf enough people support it, then movie makers will make even more good movies that don\'t make you cringe with disgust.

About time someone like Al had something REAL to say about life in general...this game-playing by politicians in the media has got to stop.. not only that they are sacrificing our country to make it a laughing stock to the whole world..ALL of these pu sy politicians are making a laughing stock of the american people and we had better wake up...that is all i have to say. About this movie, i will definitely see it...because Al has something REAL to say, which not many people have to say these days...too bad...beause if we don\'t wake up and start expressing our views...bye bye usa

This was one of the better movies this year. The actors were good, if a little unpolished, and they were able to make you see and understand the situations you\\\'ve faced in your life, too. \\r\\n\\r\\nGoo d entertainment and no problems with hidden messages that a parent might worry about their kids, were they to watch it.

To illustrate the need for movies like this, I am going to share a personal testimony. Fireproof was recommend to me by a friend. I am in my sixties and have been single for many years, 12 of which I was a single parent of three children, until they were old enough to be on their own. My marriage was broken as a result of my wife insincerely making a profession of faith, in the Lord Jesus Christ, at the same time as I, and later deciding that family and the Christian life was not as appealing as the bar scene, etc. I found the movie to be very well done and that it illustrates very well the basic issues in a marriage relationship. More importantly it illustrates very well how human nature, in its basic form, is at odds with God and His requirement of righteousness before Him. And, how God can provide enlightenment, via the Holy Spirit, to people that are open to receiving it and thereby truly began to live life. This is transforming power with the ability to reshaped lives (including marriages) into what God original intended them to be. Though the actors are obviously not veteran actors and actresses (as Hannah has implied), I found them to be genuine and this is much, much, more than I can say for any academy award winner that I have ever seen perform. This alone, sets the movie apart from your standard Hollywood flick and makes it a unique experience, not to mention a much more real to life experience. Hannah, with all due respect, I must say that if your statement \\\"...if I wanted to listen to married people arguing all night I would have just gone home and picked a fight with my own spouse.\\\" is all you gleaned from the movie, please do yourself and your husband a favor and go see the movie again, with an open mind to the illustrated truth concerning basic human nature and how it undermines relationships between persons at all levels (God and humankind, husband and wife, parents and children, friends, family, co-workers, etc.). I can say without a doubt that restoration of my relationship with God, through the finished work of Jesus Christ, has made all the difference in the meaning of life for me, and my loved ones, and has brought genuine understanding and enlightenment to the purpose and meaning of life as a whole. Without, at least, investigating and testing God and His plan for life, it seems to me one would be making decisions without full knowledge and experience. I personally question the wisdom in such an approach.
