Wow! Every time I watch this movie, I am touched. The story line is wonderful and the whole content is safe for younger eyes. I see this as proof that decent, wholesome movies do still sell. I have 2 copies, 1 to share and 1 for us. "You NEVER leave your Partner!" is my favorite line, and the whom movie shows how that can be possible.

I had only heard about this movie in passing. I was expecting a movie like Backdraft or Ladder 51? Boy was I utterly surprised (in a great way). I friend of mine had said that before seeing the movie he said to himself that he was not going to cry. I didn't know what he meant until I saw it, then I understood completely.

The arguments and their fights are the most realistic that I've seen and a word about the acting, lighting, etc. The budget for this film was $500,000! However, I can name you 2 dozen movies with budgets in the 10s of millions, with high grade actors, directors, lighting, etc and the movie was a complete waste of time and pure garbage. If you gave some of the wooden acting and photography a second look then you have no understanding about what makes a good movie (story) and were focused on the wrong thing.

The transformations that happen in this movie I have seen in my own life and in others as well. This movie doesn't just show you a way, but it also shows you the consequences of some of these choices. That is something that few movies do.

I recommended this movie to my daughter and her fiance who are getting married this May. They are both agnostic and not Christian. Yet they got the message. It moved them, made them cry, and laugh, and walked away thinking. I agree with one of the other reviewer, anyone in a marriage, relationship, or getting married needs to see this.

Would you rather cringe at a moment where words like Jesus and God are brought up and walk away with something meaningful , or laugh at dirty language and crude behavior which unrealistically depicts a relationship, like so many of these comedy/dramas do?

Some in the Christian community have finally understood that they too have an ability to tell stories that are meaningful, uplifting, and entertaining. Honestly, it really isn't a fair fight. Hollywood movies tend to be so bad (not all of them of course) that making a great movie with actual values is a relatively simple thing to do.

Never heard of this one but was looking for something to see. Hadn't been to the movies in a while and just showed up at the box office and drew straws. This was the one! I've never written a review before and when I first started watching this movie I thought "Oh No, one of these religious flicks." But decided to stay anyway and boy, was I glad I did! Really hit the nail on the head. What a movie! I believe nothing just happens by chance and this confirmed that. I have been going through exactly what this movie was all about. If you ever wanted to learn how to love someone the right way, please watch this movie. Cheap setings but the storyline is excellent and the teaching is superb. Wish I had seen this last January (2008). It would have made me grow up allot sooner (I'm 62). Never considered that "I" needed to improve, always my fiancee'. The movie is a must see for everyone so you can get it right. You won't stop thinking about it for a very long time, hopefully never! Watch, learn and grow up!

Great movie - cried often. This movie is a MUST SEE for all people, especially married couples or those who are planning to be maried. Heart warming, tender, emotional, and bonding. This movie is even safe for the little eyes and ears in your family. You don't want to miss this one!

This movie was so timely for my husband and I. We had no idea what the movie was about - but after buying our tickets and sitting down - we were both DEEPLY touched with the contents.

Whether a marriage is on the rocks, in a ditch or on a super freeway - this is a movie all couples should see - feel and be moved by - emotionally and spirtually.

My husband and I saw this movie in Medford. I wish it would come to Klamath Falls! When the movie was over, everyone stayed in their seats till all the credits were complete. Then the whole theater broke into clapping! When was the last movie you saw that that happened??? Quite a testimony to a wonderful film... We need more of them. A quick google search let me find the book \\\"Love Dare\\\" and I bought several for Christmas gifts. You\\\'ll also find them for sale on Ebay! I hope more movies this good are in the works!

This is a great movie. It has something for everyone - action, romance, drama, male bonding, a personal quest, respect for parents, a positive message, and true love on top of it all. This is a must see for anyone over the age of 18.

A moving movie with truth. I have read many positive reviews and also the negative. When I read the negative I wonder if we even saw the same movie-it seems obvious to me that the writer made up his/her mind before even seeing it. \r\nIt doesn\'t take a Christian to recognize the truth of one of its points-where you put your money and time in is what has captured your heart-your \"god\" so to speak. \r\n\r\nI loved the movie despite its imperfections-I would highly recommend it. I find it worthy of applause that it captured the heart of the marital problem without resorting to making an R rated movie-it is easier to demonstrate in a movie the problems if you graphically depict them with profanity and sex. It also demonstrated that there are real problems in marriages even for what we consider nice people.
