I have not see this film when it first came out, I know it’s hard to believe. Anyway, people kept telling me how great this film is and I finally got to see for myself and I have to agree with everyone, this film is amazing. I think it is the best Pixar movie and really any animated film I have seen. I saw this one in 3D and it really enhanced my experience, I think it was worth the extra cash. i loved this animation because it was meaningful, soulful, touching, funny and I loved all of the characters. Overall, it is a great animation and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters.

I have seen this film many times before because I have many nieces and nephews but I have never seen it in the theaters so I decided to treat myself. I took my little nephew with me and we saw it in 3D which was totally worth the extra cash. I am happy I got to see this film in the movie theater because it looked so great and it filled me up with positive emotions. If you have seen this film you know how sweet and funny it is and how perfect it is for the whole family. This is a film that makes me feel good and makes me think and I love that my nephew is learning great things from it.

The only thing bad I can say here is that the site only permits me to give this movie five stars. If I could, I would give it a full ten stars, because that's how many it honestly deserves. I can't think of another movie in recent memory that combines such masterful storytelling with perfect voice acting and artistry, design, and animation that has to be seen to be believed. It's like a dream you once had when you were younger and knew that it would never come true, yet here you are, sitting awake and watching it on screen! It's insane, really, that Pixar was able to do what they did with this story of clownfish. They take every detail, from the current of the oceans to the scales on the turtle shells to the interaction between father and son to show that there is nothing that isn't magical in the minds of those who are willing to look for it. I hope Pixar goes on to make many more movies for the next thousand years. They are the best - PERIOD!

My parents used to take me to see movies like "Toy Story" and "A Bug's Life" when I was a kid but I remember falling asleep after like the first 45 minutes. I could only stay awake for half the movie, my mom always like to remind me. I must have been crazy because a movie like Finding Nemo comes along but once in a generation. It's the kind of movie that gets you to sit up and take notice of what movies can be and what they can mean to all of us who really love to be transported in the the dark of the cinema halls. I was always drawn to this story because it showed the lengths to which a father would go to find his child after his wife and entire clan of clownfish offspring are wiped out by an undersea predator. There are so many memorable moments and witty jokes in this story that it's impossible not to fall in love with it, I'd say. In fact, if you do see the movie and feel nothing, you might want to check your pulse. It's a great big beating heart of love and excitement.

There are classic movies that audiences love and then there are classic movies that audiences love that are also masterpieces. Finding Nemo is the latter, thanks to its gorgeous artistry, memorable characters, and a storyline that even the greatest weavers of verbal yarn would be proud of. This is the kind of movie that made Disney and Pixar the premiere family entertainment studios in the world and which will keep them in those positions for generations to come. They have proven time and time again that the best movies are those that use CGI and yes even 3D to tell the story better, not to hide the fact that their story is basically a watered down old wine in a new bottle. This is the basic lesson that everyone who has ever seen Finding Nemo will take away once they forget the magic, wonder, and sheer joy of the movie itself. Getting them to forget, then, is the more herculean task.

I remember being a kid and seeing this movie at the age of five with my best friend nicki. Now that I'm almost 15, this movie totally brings back a flood of memories that I just don't have with any other movie. I've seen it many times on DVD but since it was the first movie I can remember seeing in the theatre, it has a very special significance for me. I always cry when the whole family of clownfish die at the beginning, leaving only Nemo and his Dad. This is the first ten minutes of the movie so I'm not giving anything away, so don't flame me for not posting a spoiler alert. My favorite character in whole story is definitely Dory who is voiced by Ellen Degeneres. I think she just plays the part with such perfect innocence and a sense of fun, I wish I had a Dory in my real life! A really fun, imaginative, and clever movie that never grows old and will be a favorite of mine for the rest of my life.

I once read that Walt Disney's favorite movie of his career from Snow White to the Jungle Book was Bambi. If he were alive today, he would probably say that his favorite movie under the Disney umbrella is Finding Nemo. It is practically perfect in every way, as Mary Poppins would say, which most people who have seen it already agree. I personally find this whole 3D craze a bit silly and think most movies - even the animated or CGI heavy flicks made for 3D - play better in 2D. 3D is usually a silly distraction and I was a bit peeved at Pixar and Disney for trying to bait our dollars with this 3D rerelease after the mega success of The Lion King in 3D. Still, this is one of the very very few movies where the artistry is actually enhanced by the 3D format. I don't know that it does anything to bolster the storytelling but it doesn't detract from it either. If this is as big a success as were The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast (and "Brave") expect many more of these masterpieces to find 3D rereleases. I, for one, will be happy to pay up.

If you ask me, every Disney or Pixar movie should be set under the sea. Something absolutely magical happens whenever they set their movies underwater . . . like "The Little Mermaid" and "Finding Nemo", both of which are getting rereleased in 3D. I think TLM comes out next year but lucky for us Nemo is already out and back in cinemas for our entertainment and enjoyment. For a movie that's now almost a decade old, it still feels brand new to both the eyes and the ears in 3D, thanks to the stunning technology that makes the movie even more riveting than ever before. My kids love this movie (that's an understatement) and I LOVE this movie (to put it mildly) so I don't mind the $100 price tag it costs for my family to go see the film in 3D together. Movies like this don't come along often, and when they do, they should be treated with reverence and the special love that they deserve. A true blue modern classic, if ever there was one.
