It was playing in 3 theaters in Virginia. One of which luck enough was somewhat close to me. This movie is amazing. I was so releaved to see that it was based on truth and wasnt glamorized. It shows the up and downs of hector. Jlo actually did a good job for once with her acting skills. and Marc NAILED Hectors body language to a T!!! Luck me I know someone that downloaded it and I have the DVD now. woooohooo illegal downloading!!!! lol. ;o) -
I live in Lex,KY what on earth is going on when the only places I can go see this movie is Chicago, St. Louis or Atlanta, within 400 miles. Does someone not know that Latinos/Hispano s are everywhere in the US. What a shame! And anglos love salsa music too, I dance with them every night at a local professional dance studio. Some even compete in Professional competitions.I am irrate! I know this movie will be good and I will go see it at the end of the earth if possible. That's my Puertorican pride. -
It is very nice that we can go see "El Cantante" right up the street from where we live! I'll be at the theatre on Saturday to see what appears to be a really good movie! (then I'll probably buy the DVD!!) -
It is very upseting that with the hundreds of thousand's of latinos that live in the Boston-New Hampshire area this movie is not playing in any theaters within a 60 mile ratio. I am very dissapointed and also thousands of Puertorricans that live in this area. Cant rate it because I wont be able to watch it till its released on DVD.
