"Eat the Peach," is one of those great, yet unknown films. Irish filmmaker Peter Ormrod gives rise to a peculiar mood of dampened excitement. Set in a jobless area of Ireland, it's a lyrical, atmospheric movie about regularpeople, but it's not at all downbeat. It has a head-clearing, tonic effect, like a brisk walk through the cold.
