This film was wonderful and I highly recommend seeing it with your children. It hits all family film bases and even though it is predictable, the film is endearing, genuine and me and my family had a great time watching it. I usually do not like films like this, I find them way too cute but i was pleasantly surprised by this film. I think the film’s success has a lot to do with the cast which includes Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr. The performances were very strong and believable, that made this film rise above a cutsey family film. Overall, if you have children, this is a great film to see with them.

It's hard for me not to be cynical, so I walked into Dolphin Tale with teeth clenched. It's NOT my kind of movie. But, darn it, if I didn't find myself tearing up at moments. Dolphin Tale is one of those family films that pulls on the heart strings a bit too much, but for the most part it works, especially considering it's based on a true story.
If you've seen the trailer, you know that a boy finds an injured dolphin, and helps rehab him as the dolphin learns to use a prosthetic tale. It's a time tested formula made to turn an adult male like myself into a blubbering idiot. Of course, the dolphin also teaches the kid lessons, and various other subplots involving the kid's mom and the vet also tie in nicely.
I'm not going to try and fool you here. This is a feel good movie, and unless you have no heart, you're pretty much going to be sobbing at some point. As long as you know that, you'll have a good time.

I really liked this film and it is weird for me to say that because I thought I will hate it. I saw the film in 3D and I did not really understand why it was necessary to film it in 3D, but that is the only negative thing I have to say about this film. The movie was true and beautiful and I really loved that it is based on a true story it adds that much more feeling to the film. The actors did a good job, I mean none of them will get nominated for it but they all gave very believable and likeable performances and that worked well for this film.

This was an amazing and inspiring film that you can see with your children. I thought that the film will be extremely cheesy and corny but it really was not, it was perfect. Appearantly, the film is based on a true story and that is awesome, I was really touched by this film and i think a lot of people will feel the same. The film is very sincere and also visually beautiful, my niece and nephew loved this film and also learned something very valuable from it. The cast in the film is very good, likable and believable, I was very pleased with the performances. Overall, I think it is a great family film and I had a great time watching it.

This is a family film about a friendship between a dolphin and a young boy, the film is directed by Charles Martin Smith and stars Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr. I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters with your family. I think that the film was very sweet and charming and it felt genuine unlike some other inspirational films that I have seen this year. I really liked the story and it had surprisingly deep and grown-up moments in it. liked that the director did not try to manipulate the audience into feeling sad, I felt sad because the emotions in the film felt real and genuine.
