I went to see this film with my family and I think the little ones liked it and the adults had an alright time watching it. My family loves dogs, we have 5 dogs in total so one could say that we are a bit crazy about pups so this film was kind of perfect for us. I mean, it is not a smart film that will move you in any way but it is an entertaining family movie that will make you laugh and say “awww”. I also liked that the film was kind of quirky and it was not sappy in any way. Overall, I think it was a fun film to watch with your whole family. -
This was definitely an interesting movie. Doggie Boogie, as the name suggests, is about dogs. More specifically, it is about an aspiring vet Cassie who finds out that the local dog dancing studio is about to go out of business. To save the business, she enters her pup into the championship dog dancing competition. If you are like me, that description alone is enough to make you ask...what? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a dog lover. However, this movie was a little weird. This was a quirky film that I was trying to follow along with the whole time. The dogs in the film were very cute and the movie had its moments but overall I wasn’t a big fan.
