I was disappointed with this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was way too sentimental and corny for me and the bad behavior is really just on the surface, the whole film felt like it was all for appearances. I could see that the film was trying really hard to be edgy and different but it failed miserably. Some scenes in the film made me uncomfortable because they were so bad, I felt bad for the director and the actors involved. The film felt very clumsy and unfinished and in the same time it had a good heart so I can not be too mean. -
This is a drama set in 1980’s about a girl named Danielle and her journey to California, the film is directed by Abe Sylvia and stars Juno Temple, Jeremy Dozier and Milla Jovovich. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I can see how the director wanted this movie to be but he packed too many cliches in it and ruined the vision. The film was also way too sentimental and had way too many themes that were all so corny and did not feel realistic. Honestly, the director made this film super gay and I did not think that it was necessary. Overall, I did enjoy the music in the film but that was the only thing I enjoyed.
