I think it is an interesting film and I think it is worth seeing in the theaters. Honestly, I did not like it at first because I found it to be a bit depressing, but the more I watched the more I got into it and by the end I realized that I really enjoyed watching this film. My friend found this film to be pretentious but I found it to be insightful. The film is a bit uneven but powerful in its own unique way and that is pretty rare nowadays. I think Adrien Brody is excellent in this film and once again proves that he is a very capable actor. Overall, I think this film is interesting and intriguing and I recommend seeing it in the theaters.
This is a drama about a substitute teacher who drifts through life and finally finds connection during his latest assignment, the film is directed by Tony Kaye and stars Adrien Brody, Christina Hendricks and Marcia Gay Harden. I really liked this film and recommend seeing it in the theaters. At first I was not sure about this film but i realized throughout the film that it got under my skin and stayed there till the end. There is real anger in this film but it is channeled in a right way and it does not overwhelm the movie. It is an emotionally powerful, interesting and enlightening film that will make you think and wonder. Some people will find this film to be depressing but those people need to look from a different angle and find the meaning of this film.
