This is a drama about an alcoholic man who tries to change his life by putting kids through college via 4H and FFA scholarship donations, the film is directed by Christopher Cain and stars Jon Gries, Elaine Hendrix and Val Kilmer. I usually do not like films like this one, where it is all about falling and then redemption but this film did not bother me and I actually enjoyed watching it. The film is an inspirational biopic and it does the job pretty well, i did leave the theater inspired and uplifted. The film felt genuine and believable and it also had a great cast. I was happy to see that the embrace of religion by the main character was not the main goal in this film and the film does not advertise organized religion but it shows that giving back to the society is as satisfying as finding god. Overall, if you want to be uplifted and inspired then I suggest you see this film.
