This is a thriller about kidnapping and it is directed by David Barker and stars Alexandra Meierhans, Ivan Martin and Michael Godere. I really liked this film and i highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is very interesting and intense and it has a really good cast. The director did a great job with building up the tension and I was very scared for the characters and intrigued by the kidnappers. I think the film is acted very well and Ivan Martin and Alexandra Meierhans really impressed me and I hope to see more of these actors in other films.
I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. Even though the plot of the film is not fresh and it has been done many times, it feels original and it is interesting to watch. The strong performances definitely help the film to be elevated from mediocre. The whole film is shot pretty much in single set piece and surprisingly it does not get boring. I liked the pace of the film, which was sort of slow and philosophical and the director was able to create suspense and mystery and that is always a good thing. This film was interesting and refreshing and i had a great time watching and wondering.
I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The idea of the film is not original and it is not made to feel original either. The film also have two distinct genres and it is hard to decide if it is a philosophical film or a horror film. I think this split between two genres is the biggest flaw in the movie. The characters in the film are not very interesting and and their actions do not make much sense because there is no purpose behind it. The performances are very uneven and irritating for that matter. Overall, I wish i did not see this film because it was a total waste of my time.
