I'm surprised at how intensely negative some of the reviews here are. Okay, this isn't like the best movie ever or anything even close, but it's interesting and even funny. I guess I like the idea that a woman can walk into some guy's life who thinks he has it all and just totally blow him to shreds so that he knows that he really has nothing of value. It reminds me of a lot of relationships I've seen, lol. The girl called Crazy Eyes is really cool and I loved how she never shied away from speaking her mind. She really know how to cut close to the bone and that's what get Zach to wake up out of his stupor. Yeah, parts of the movie are boring and you get tired of all the dialogue after a while, but I really like the idea of two characters just sitting in a room and talking out their problems. Remember that episode of "Family Guy" where Brian and Stewie are locked in the bank and just end up sharing their deepest, darkest secrets? The last half of this movie is like that - only not as funny!

Ha! This is the kind of movie that makes you hate guys...or at least give thanks that you are NOT a guy, because some of them are just perpetual adolescents. Here we have a guy who's divorced and has a kid but he somehow seems to think that it's okay for him to just party with Hollywood bimbos all day in his Hollywood Hills bachelor pad. After thousands of meaningless encounters, he ends up meeting a girl named Crazy Eyes (who actually has very pretty eyes) and she gets him to confess all of his fears and doubts that he tries to cover up by being an eternal frat boy. He doesn't grow up, naturally, but he at least is honest about what a LOSER he is. Movies only work when you can relate to the main character - or at least like them a little bit. This dude Zach is an out and out weirdo who kinda makes you want to walk out of the theater but he's such a trainwreck you can't help but stare. Unless you're a guy who parties all the time, I'd find something else to watch. Is "The Avengers" still playing??

They always say the grass is greener on the other side, right? And in Hollywood, the grass is just so, soooo much greener. This movie blows that whole idea to bits with its sad portrayal of the lead character Zach who lives a life of total hedonistic indulgence and who seems to be beginning to understand that his lifestyle is not sustainable. You kind of expect the movie to show him trying to make amends, but when he ends up meeting a girl named Crazy Eyes he starts to pour his heart out to her and everything just comes out. I mean EVERYTHING. It's not even emotional purging. It's emotional vomit, and there's a A LOT of it. It pretty much goes on for like an hour of the whole film's running time. The performances are pretty believable, but there are times you wonder why the seat in front of you doesn't come with a sickness bag, there's so much vomiting going on screen. Probably wait until the DVD comes out to see it, I'd say.

Wow, I could not believe that I got talked into seeing this one. It's pretty lousy as movie go. I could not believe that they'd make a movie about a father who just wants to party and have sex all the time with Hollywood bimbos without showing him how wrong it is to live like that. He pretty much treats women like objects until he meets one who's on to his game named Crazy Eyes and then the two of them drink themselves into a so-called "deep" conversation about life and the meaning of their existence and blah blah blah. It was all I could not to throw up on the screen. I was like, uh hello, you have a kid, mister! Why don't you go talk to him and see how he's doing instead of hanging out with your loser bartender friends who don't do anything for you except get you drunk! As a parent, it was totally unbelievable. Such people should be locked up and kept off the screen, I hate to think that anyone out there sees this and thinks such a lifestyle is ok. Boo!

Wow, this one was just terrible. Let me repeat: TERRIBLE! Please do yourself a favor and save your time and money and stay the heck away from this awful movie. Did I mention it's terrible?? It's supposed to be about a guy named Zach who thinks he has everything going for himself when he ends up living the "life" in Hollywood. He has a cool bachelor pad and entertains lots of pretty ladies and has parties basically every night. Then one day he meets a woman named Crazy Eyes who does what all women in these movies are supposed to do- turn your life upside down. The movie is so bad because it ends up being about this basically 30-something old child and brat who whines and cries because life isn't perfect even though he has like no responsibilities and just wants to party forever. He seems to know that people don't like him and never will. And that's it, that's the whole point! Unless you want to hear a grown man cry like a baby for two hour, stay away. You've been warned.

I thought his film was alright but I do not think it is worth the price of the movie ticket. I liked the story and it is one of those films that become a guilty pleasure but I had a problem with the protagonist of this movie and that is never good. I did not like the main character, i thought he was a jerk and too in love with himself and that kind of ruined the film for me. THe story is not very original but let’s face it, we all want to see it and secretly we love it. I thought that the cast did a pretty good job and were convincing in their roles. Overall, I think this film is better off watched at the comfort of your house.
