It's ok for what it is, but should have been called anything else than Conan. A total insult to the original movie...

The 1982 version of Conan the Barbarian is noteworthy for having kickstarted the "acting" career of Arnold Schwarzenegger. It wasn't very good, but at least it had some humorous moments and so bad it's good dialogue. Unfortunately, this movie doesn't have either of those things, so all it is is just not very good.
Conan is literally born on the battlefield, and raised by his dad to be awesome with the sword. His dad is killed by the evil Khalar Zym, a guy who's trying to put together some mask so he can wield its power. Conan, of course, wants to kill the guy. So you get a lot of bloody battles and beheadings. A LOT.
And that's pretty much all you get. Marcus Nispel directs this film with way too much seriousness. It doesn't have to be a comedy, but it also doesn't have to be humorless. And all the beheadings and blood were just way too much, especially in crappy 3D. Enough already with the 3D.

I was dragged to this movie by my friend who was a huge fan of the 1982 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. poor guy was so excited to see this film and so disappointed after he saw it. I was not disappointed, I knew that this film will be bad, what I did not know is that it was more than bad, it was almost unbearable. We saw the film in 3D, which was total waste of money and I had a headache afterwards. The movie is a blood bath interrupted by really bad dialogue and characters that are pointless and purposeless. Overall, I absolutely hated this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters.

I knew this film is going to be bad from the previews, but I did not expect it to be as bad as it was. The film is noisy, brutal and vulgar and there is no reason or purpose behind any of the character’s actions, therefore he becomes just a huge mascular guy who slays left and right and growls, it is sad to watch. I saw the film in 3D and I might as well thrown my money to the trash can, because there was no reason to release this film in 3D. Basically, the film fails on all levels and I am really angry that I spent my money on this film. I hope you will read this review and save yourself from “Conan the Barbarian”.

Just like the previews promise, the film is filled with blood and it is everywhere. The battle scenes are endless and poorly made,, there is too much going on and it is hard to distinguish who is a good guy or who is a bad guy, not that it really matters in this film. My eyes got tired really soon and my ears were suffering from a terrible dialogue. Conan is barely a character, he has no depth or purpose, all he does is slay and have sex. All the other characters are pretty pointless as well, there was absolutely no excitement in this film it was a blood fest and nothing else. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.

This is an action/adventure film directed by Marcus Nispeland starring Jason Momoa, Ron Perlman and Rose McGowan. I absolutely hated this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters, unless you have absolutely nothing better to do. The film is incredibly stupid and extremely violent. The film has so many battle scenes filled with blood that when i left the theater I felt noxious. The film is pointless, the characters have no purpose and the film itself has no context whatsoever. i have seen a lot of bad films this summer, this is not the worst of them but it is still in the top ten.
