This is a doc**entary about the fans who gather by the thousands each year in San Diego, California to attend Comic-Con, the world's largest comic book convention, the film is directed by Morgan Spurlock and stars Kevin Smith, Stan Lee and Eli Roth. I think this film was created for a very specific audience and that audience will definitely like it and appreciate it, however i am not a fan of comics and it was hard for me to understand how people can get into that so much. I still think that the film was great and I liked how the director showed the absurdity of the obsession and also a genuine human interest, it was a nice balance. I found the film to be very entertaining and I had fun watching it even though i do not understand the people that are in it.
I have a friend who attends Comic-Con religiously so he really wanted to see this film and dragged me with him. I actually had a pretty decent time and I think this film is pretty interesting and entertaining. It is definitely going to be appreciated by fans much more than by me but I found charms in it as well. It was quite interesting to see what goes on during the Coferennce and why so many people are drawn to it. I think this film is the next best thing to being there and I enjoyed the ride.
