Cloverfield Movie Reviews

movie had so much potential to be great, but it wasn't.
i almost got motion sickness from the moving angles, not really any information about what is really going on except for the love story.
where did the spiders come from?
and talk about a bad ending. it just cuts off like theres no tomorrow.
Awesome. Thats not enough to say about this movie. Shakey camera is kinda oh i dont know, the point. You cant really say anything about that, it was phenominal. Also as to no plot, 3 letters... wtf. so i guess saving the girl you love from a giant monster isnt a good plot anymore. Well heres some news, it actually is. With their low budget, they really brought it all out. Well, i guess thats what my 15 year old self thinks.
Cloverfield was an interesting movie. I really enjoyed how the world was coming to an end or Armegedon. But overall it was pretty dumb. I thought the way they filmed it through a doc**ent was stupid. You bearily ever saw the monster except in one scene. I thought the monster was fake and looked like it was pulled out of a child's toybox. But the parascites it dropped were pretty cool. One really bad thing is that the camera was tilted a lot so you kinda have to tilt with it to see clear. Over all i was an o.k. movie.
I'm having trouble giving this movie any stars at all. Don't get me wrong ... it was a good effort, but only for beginners. In other words, it wasn't commercial-leve l quality.
Very well done, thought through, CGI'd (absolutely amazing graphics) and directed movie. This is one you absolutely must see in the theater to really appreciate: from the large screen to the booming surround sound. Getting a story told from the average Joe's perspective while in extraordinary circ**stances Joe can't control or affect is rare in the movie business and a delightful treat that was masterfully executed in this case. There is tons of action, humor even, and a fun view at the human character under immediate, and constant unstoppable danger. One must actually pay attention; but that is not difficult as the movie is very intense and rapidly gets you absorbed--only releasing your immediate attention for short bursts to give you time to remember to breath. Artfully, no scene last too long, and the action and character developments are interspersed in measured doses. The only trouble the first person view may cause is motion sickness in the weak stomached. In all, one of the best movies I've seen in a long while; one that leaves you sitting in your seat digesting it all even once the credits start rolling.
this was a terrible movie!
i get scared so easy,
this was no scary...
i hated it...
they all freakin die,
what fun is that!?!?
sorry it was just a
i am the worst movie critic normally...I usually think every movie is "a good movie" and never think movies are bad but this was HORRIBLE! I don't understand how anyone can be on the edge of their seat? If I was on the edge of anything, it was throwing up because of the lame Blair Witch imitation. Nothing happened in the movie....there was "action" but no plot...very very lame, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
Had a great time watching this movie. Totally on the edge of your seat the whole time. It's not like any other movie out there. A
Had me on the edge of my seat the hole time. Very suspenseful because you cant see anything very clearly. A lot like the blare witch project. Makes you feel like you're there in the city. Its nothing like Godzilla, if thats what you're thinking.
This movie is very good. It leaves you wondering, but a lot can be figured out if you pay attention. Trust me pay attention if you can figure out the clues they will blow your mind. If you don't like to think or if you like mindless crappy movies don't see this.
