Cars 2 in Disney Digital 3D Movie Reviews

This was a great movie for children! When I take children to a movie, I filter everything else out. It's got lovable characters, it was exciting, and it was techy enough to appeal to the young savvy preschooler! Sure, it has some subliminal messages, but I chose to pretend I was a child, so once the movie was over, I forgot about everything else except the message of friendship portrayed. The kids loved it, it was clean, and that's what counts! Hooray for Disney's ability to present a bit of fun!
This movie is propoganda. Disney certainly has a right to make it, but as a consumer, I have the right to be told it is a propoganda piece before I shell out my cash and expose my innocent grandchildren to it. I want my $22.50 back!
Our government has shelled out probably trillions of dollars since the early 70's in 'pie in the sky' alternative energy schemes with nothing of consequence to show for it. There is ethanol, made from corn, which has resulted in manipulation of the world's food supply and sharply increased food prices. Tough as that is for us in the U.S. right now, imagine third world country consequences. The government subsidizes its production and God only knows what its real cost per gallon is. And more fuel is expended in its production than is ultimately made. A negative gain!
And Disney wants my money to attack 'big oil'. Disney can go to Hades. I am done with Disney.
I do not care what the critics say, this film was great and i recommend seeing it in the theaters. I saw the film in 3d and it blew my mind how amazing and advanced our technology is, the film looked absolutely awesome. The movie was full of action and it was funny and sweet, i have to admit that it was not as great as previous Pixar films but it was still pretty darn good. I don’t know what people expect, this is a film for children and I know for a fact that children love it. The voice overs were all great and gave the animated characters life and complexity. Paris, Tokyo and Italian Riviera is animated to perfection and I was in awe of the beauty of the animation. Overall, me and my son had a great time watching this film.
I will start with the positives, the film looked fantastic and it was definitely worth to see it in 3D. The film is fast paced and full of action so you will not be bored. Now the bad stuff, the film has absolutely no heart and it is very hard to say about a Pixar film. Usually Pixar makes films that are full of likable and relateble characters, usually the films are full of wit and joy, but this movie has none of those things. The film opens brilliantly and the chase scene is totally amazing but it goes downhill from there. Pixar made so many brilliant films and this one felt a little bit short and it feels like a great failure because the bar is so high for Pixar. Anyway, the kids will still love the film and I suggest seeing it in 3d, it is totally worth the extra money, as for adults it is a disappointent.
