this is normallly the theatre that i go to. Really nice and clean with great popcorrn and snacks.
A major waste of time.
Take all your stereotypes that have been evolved the last last few years, mix them together in a protein shake, add several types of narrowed eyebrows and fake brow-sweat, and you have this over-hyped movie.
Don't even worry that there isn't a plot, it's obviously not meant to have a clear, logical thought process that leads the viewers somewhere interesting. Instead it is the Amber Alert on stereoids, having woman-power front and center, while exhibiting this generatin of movie-makers' continuing war against white males by showing how stupid they are, when compared to any other sentient being on Planet Earth.
I was kind of excited to see this film because I am a big fan of Halle Berry and the trailer of the film was pretty interesting. I thought the film was pretty good at the beginning and I was quite intrigued, however the film took a wrong turn when Berry left her desk and from that moment it kind of sucked. I did not like that the film was manipulative and it relied on silly horror flick scare tactics, I expected a decent thriller, however it was just another mediocre scary film. I also found the film to be quite insulting and disturbing and it also did not make much sense, I think the director had a hard time putting the pieces of the puzzle together and it really affected the film. I think Berry is such a great actress and I wish she chose better films, it seems that lately her choices been really poor. Overall, I think this film is not worth seeing in the theaters, however you might enjoy watching this film at the comfort of your home.
I did not really like this film and do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I found the film to be very manipulative, predictive and just overall not good, I was quite disappointed with it. I was very frustrated with this film and I did not feel good after seeing it, in fact I wanted to take a shower as soon as possible. The film was not that bad at first, unfortunately it became worse and worse as the time went by and by the end it did not make any sense at all. The moment when Berry decides to leave her desk, the film loses the tension and spirals down. Overall, this film is not worth seeing on the big screen, you will be better off renting it.
