Bourne Ultimatum Movie Reviews

If you like action films, this final of the Bourne trio is really good, very good. I thought it was as good as The Bourne Identity and better than the second one, The Bourne Supremacy. Incidentally, I'm sorry but I enjoy almost all genres of films, and too bad if you don't; I am amused by critics who believe a film must be "sophisticated" and then don't manage to like anything. These Bourne films are even better than Die Hard 1 and Bullitt.
ACTION ADVENTURE: If your a Matt
Damon fan you will enjoy this and the departure from reality that is represented by Damons feats will be overlooked. If you prefer some
semblance of reality you will look elsewhere.
Fun action movie with great graphics. Good escapist adventure. Only bad spot was that often the graphics took over and put me in the middle of the scene. I was unable to see what was happening though some might enjoy the disconnected feeling it caused. Worth the money and the DVD will go into my collection.
GREAT! GREAT!GREAT! The movie held your attention I think it was the best of the three also. Just so action packed. I will peobably buy the DVD. Matt Damon was GREAT!
I had only seen parts of the previous two Bourne movies so I thought I would be lost. Amazingly they answered all of my questions very quickly so there wasn't any confusion. I'm actually a fan of the up close action sequences in the movie. It gives you less time to react to those suprises that they love to put in there. It picked up very nicely where #2 left off. I can only hope that in #4, they dig deeper into Jason Bourne's past. Can't wait until this hit comes out on DVD.
It will play better on DVD, just as Bourne 2 did. The first set of problems are the close-ups in the action scenes with the herky-jerky camera work, the theater screen is just too big for that, and it causes the action effect to be lost in the bigness. The second problem is the foot chase scene in Madrid took way too long, if you have to go to the bath room this is the part in the movie to take care of that. The director needs to back off a bit when he makes #4. The story line of "who am I, where did I come from?" is getting long in the tooth. I'm being generous with 3 stars, but acting was excellent. It is a shame the director blew it, and the writers wern't very imaginative.
Best action m0vie i ever saw.Very thrilling and exiting. Did not see any of the other ones and was not really lost because they show flash backs
would rate 10 out of 10
Great movie! Love the James Bond action without, well.... James Bond. The movie stays moving right from the beginning. No falling asleep here. I hope they make another "Bourne" movie.
The Bourne Ultimatum is a kinetic thrill ride from director Paul Greengrass ( United 93, The Bourne Supremacy) that is easily the best of the trilogy. Taking the name ( and very little else) from the novel by Robert Ludlum) Greengrass and writers Tony Gilroy and Tom Stoppard start the movie off with action and keep it going till the final frame. Although the films many action scenes are hampered slightly by the " shakey cam" work that has become this directors trademark they are also energized by clostrophobic framing and very quick cuts. Love this movie, and i can't wait for the Bourne box set that is sure to follow
I was lucky to get into a packed house for the sneak preview of The Bourne Ultimatum last night. I am glad that I did because this movie was awesome.
Jas on Bourne is back not only for payback (for his girlfriend’s death) but to get the answers to all those nagging questions about his past and how he became an elite killing machine.
Thi s film finally reveals the details of Bourne’s creation and introduces some new players in the twisted world of the black ops security. The plot and dialogue are nicely sandwiched between some truly great action scenes.
It†™s well worth seeing.
