One of the keys to a good animated film is the voice casting. I thought the voice casting in this film was excellent. Susie Essman was perfect as was Travolta. The story, itself, was also very good. I truly enjoyed this film and I did not see it in 3D.

I loved this movie! I thought it was better than Twilight and I'm a huge Twilight fan.
The animation was good. John Travolta was so good along with Miley Cyrus. Both were perfection to the movie.
This movie had everything. Action, Drama, Comedy, I even cried cause the acting and the whole movie was so believable. It blew me away!!!

Bolt is a saccharine sweet movie that, although nothing too special is great for the entire family. It wont win any awards but it’s a fun movie and well done. John Travolta voiced the title character of Bolt, and he played it earnestly and very believable for an animated character. Miley Cyrus was the voice of Penny, Bolt’s owner and the person he always believes that he is saving. Poor Bolt believes that he actually has super powers, because the creators of the TV show that he is on lead him to believe this and don’t let him leave the studio so he can’t find out the truth. It’s basically the Incredible Journey (1963 version) but done as an animated film with a plot oh and the animals can talk and are sarcastic, and there is a lot of action but other than that same movie. And I really like the “kryptonite” that Bolt uses to explain his lack of powers.

This was a really fun movie and great for an animated action adventure flick. There is a lot of humor throughout the movie that both children and adults will enjoy. The Hamster was my favorite, so cute and yet so dumb. All the characters in this movie are really cute and will probably make amazing plush toys.

This movie is great for anyone who has kids and wants to take them to a movie that they can enjoy as well. It’s smart and funny, a bit too sweet, but there’s action too so all in all it’s great.

I am sorry but tis movie did not impress me at all. The story is about this dog named Bolt who thinks he's super or something. Then, he gets shipped to New york. And then ALL he ans the cat and hampster do is talk about whether or not Bolt is a superdog. The animation was great, but it was hardly funny at all

i love love loved it! I thought it was awesome! Disney is def back! Although the movie does not have the typical adult humor that you almost expect in animated movies these days I laughed out loud to many times to count! There was even a time or two a tear almost broke out in my eye! Bolt, Mittens and Rhino all have such heart they have you cheering them on throughout the entire movie!! The animation was great and the story endearing I will most absolutly buy this for my nieces when it comes out on DVD!! Hope you all enjoy seeing this one!!

With Bolt, we are witnessing the results of the Disney/Pixar collaboration. Reportedly John Lasseter put a lot of work into this movie once the two companies hooked up, improving the story and characters and the level of animation, as well.

It shows. This is the best Disney movie in a long time. The characters stick with you, the humor will work for both kids and their parents, and the animation was sharp. It looks so much more unique than the endless stream of bland talking-animal animated movies that many studios (including Disney!) have foisted on audiences in the last ten years. That, to me, seems like Pixar’s influence at work—they’re famous for carefully crafting the design of their animated films so that they stand out from the pack. WALL-E is a great example—who knew a computer-animated film could look like that?

Younger viewers will be most interested in Miley Cyrus as the voice of Penny, Bolt’s teenaged “person” (it’s hard to explain, but dog lovers will probably get it). Hannah Montana does a pretty good job here, and John Travolta’s okay.

So is this as good as a Pixar film? Mmmm…no. The story is kind of a one-note joke—Bolt is a TV superdog who doesn’t know he’s not a real superdog. So when he ends up lost and on his own—well, you can imagine. The various characters he encounters (including pigeons and a cat voiced by the shrill Susie Essman from Curb Your Enthusiasm) are great comic relief—the best parts of the movie, maybe. And Bolt—both the dog and the film—do have real heart. Disney may not be completely up to Pixar’s standards yet, but as a maker of quality animated films, they’re back!
