Blackfish is the back story to Sea World’s relationship with their Orca whales.
The doc**entary depicts animal slavery; captured from the wild trained, bred and separated from their offspring, all for profit. In the wild, these animals never leave their mother and live 70 to 80 years. Sea World tells its visitors and employees fabricated facts to make their actions appear noble. The film provides understanding of the complicated position faced by the trainers, who love working with the whales but risk their life each time they enter the water with them.
I have never been to Sea World and now will never go but recommend this film.
