Best Man Holiday Movie Reviews
User reviews on Best Man Holiday
This movie was great, especially if you saw the first one many years ago. All the characters stayed true to their roles. This movie will make laugh, cry, and think because it hits home in many areas of relationships, not just husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend but relationships in general. I saw Thor the weekend before watching this one and surprisingly I would recommend them both but if you had to pick I would tell you to go with this one. This film was far better than the first and from the looks there may be a 3rd but I don't see a 3rd being able to top this but, we'll see.
This was the best movie I've seen this year. A
I thought this film was pretty good for a comedy, but I do not think it is worth seeing on the big screen because it is not worth the price of the movie ticket. I did like the characters in the film, they seemed to be well developed and well played by the actors. The actors played the characters with a lot of feeling and they gave depth to the characters which made the film likable even in the most cliched moments. I found the film to be a bit too long but I was quite entertained throughout the whole film so I can not complain. I did like the balance between comedy and drama, however I thought that the director made a bad judgement call with the ending, I found it to be overly religious and preachy. Overall, this film does not need to be seen in the theaters but I recommend seeing it at the comfort of your home, it is a sweet and fun film.
I did not want to see this film but my friend insisted so I went and I was actually surprised by this it. It wasn’t great or anything but I had fun watching it and if you are looking for Holiday comedy, this is the film for you. It is a good mix of comedy and melodrama and the pace is good, which I always enjoy. I thought that the characters are great and all of the actors seemed to have a good time in this film. I felt that each character had a moment to shine. The tone of the film was a bit wobbly but can live with that. Overall, it is a perfect film for the Holidays and I think it will be a nationwide success
