This film is about Cajuns who live in Louisiana and it is directed by Glen Pitre who also has Cajun ancestry. The film has some humor and it is sweet and deeply felt. in the same time it has some major problems as well. There are way too many long scenes that will almost put you to sleep, the camera stays on the scenery for too long and there are some problems with cutting some scenes too early. ASnother problem is that i could not understand anything that the characters in the film were saying, their accents are incomprehensible. Gail Youngs, who plays Alida was absolutely impossible to understand and her accent seemed to change and half of her lines were in French. I did like the Cajun music in the film and i liked the ending of the film. Overall, i think this film should be seen in the comfort of your home.
