This doc**entary was alright but I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters. i thought that the subject of the film was interesting but the film did not have enough material for a full length feature. The film is well edited and interesting to watch but i am not sure if it was engaging per say. I liked the interviews with former residents and scholarly chroniclers and it kind of made me want to grab my laptop and write away, unfortunately I am a terrible writer. Overall, I think this film is not worth the price of the movie ticket but it is worth seeing at home.

This is a doc**entary about a hotel in Paris that became a haven for new breed of artists and those artists produced some of the most important works of Beat generation, the film is directed by Alan Govenar. This doc**entary was alright but I do not think it is worth the price of the movie ticket. The film has a very interesting story but it does not develop it fully and I wish that the filmmakers dug deeper and uncovered more interesting facts and stories. I think the film was edited pretty well but it was not really engaging enough and I was a bit bored throughout it. Overall, I think you will be better off seeing this film in the comfort of your house.
