Avatar 3D is an awesome movie. Love to see it once more. The thrills shown here is just mind blowing. Even my kids like it a lot. They saw it twice and again demanding to see this.

I think its a good movie line, but its not what I thought it would be. Two stars.

The computer generated world of Avatar is so well done it is easy to feel that it is reality not the product of someones imagination. This movie is absolutely breath taking with it's vivid colors, and the characters have been created so lifelike and so much like the actors that play them in their facial expressions that you can easily make the jump back and forth between the human and Avatar bodies.
Jake Sully is confined to a wheelchair in his "human" body but in his Avatar body he can leap and run and feel things he has never experienced before. It is his job to work with two scientists that are there strictly to discover new plants and animals. Only he is supposed to learn enough to be accepted by the Aliens on this mineral rich planet so that he can talk them into relocating to a new area so the company can cut down a giant tree that is growing over the top of a mineral that they want. The human like beings that populate this planet live in harmony and are connected to all living things on their planet and the tree acts as a conduit for the energy of all of life past and present. Jake comes from barren Earth that has been destroyed by the same kind of people that run this expedition and in the beginning he eagerly passes on all the information he can gather.......but after awhile Jake begins to change, he falls in love with the female Avatar that has taken him under her wing and starts fighting to protect the planet and these cat eyed beings he has grown to love, along with two scientists that want to perserve this Utopian world. I didn't think I would enjoy this movie because it was animated.... I was pleasantly surprised.

I thought the movie was great. It was so adventurous and imaginative. I can't think of one movie evan close to a story like that. I mean it was unique, creative not evan words can describe how i feel about that movie. I can't wait to buy it. I loved seeing it in 3D. The effects. All i can say about the movie is ; WOW! it was that good. There were scary scenes so I would not suggest this movie for kids under the age of 6. BUT IT STILL WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved, loved, loved it! The 3D was awesome! An old story updated to the next century. The story moved so quickly, I was disappointed when it was over and it left me wanting more. Can't wait for the sequel. Reached the point I didn't even realize I was watching animation. Have to see it again, to catch what I missed the first time, and then maybe again. Don't miss it!

I found Avatar extremely interesting both in the movie plot and the special effects. It is a very moving movie and the alien population is very unique. It also inspires compassion for other races be it alien or even native to our planet.

I wasn't a fan of Titanic, so I didn't feel like watching Avatar. I later changed my mind, and I'll admit I was impressed with the story and the graphics.
I liked Zoe Saldana's rendition of Neytiri or whatever her name is. Sounded really authentic. Sam Worthington did a pretty good job as well. Every once in a while his Australian accent slips out.
But the story line is original and the pacing of the movie makes the 2 hours and 40 minutes go fast. The Pandora world is vibrant and is itself a character.
As far as the CGI graphics go, they're authentic movements of each of the actors so you're not watching a cartoon-movement, but real human movement.
    Worthwhile.

It is the incredible movie that i have ever seen! The stroy line was simply awesome. I wonder how one could imagine so far, the entire movie was a journey into an another world. Everything was a surprise and all for me - I just forgot this world and began flowing along with the story. Its been a long time that i enjoyed watching a movie so much. I really appreciate the big imaginative brains behind this wonder work and i wish them all the best for their future endeavors. You all ROCK!!!
