Avatar 3D is an awesome movie. Love to see it once more. The thrills shown here is just mind blowing. Even my kids like it a lot. They saw it twice and again demanding to see this.

if you are 13 and like cowboys and indians only the indians are 10 foot tall blue smurfs: you'll love this movie. I wish I could say more about it but the story is very used and as old as movie westerns. the high tech is new and if your into video games etc. and ignore the animated human faces on the computer generated smurfs you might find it interesting.

Yup! This is not the air bender you thinking of. But this Avatar is really great when you see in big screen. The effects is great. An action pack movie that surely great. A love story and lesson to learned. And a scarifies that you think you can do? A really fascinating movie.

Throughout history similar stories have played out all over the world. Raping a land and people for resources and in the process promoting them as either ignorant, the enemy, or both and in turn dehumanizing them to justify this wrong doing. This film perfectly brings this home to the audience and makes them take a second to look at the dealings going on in the world both in the past and present. Also the film does a phenomenal job at presenting just how easy it is in our culture to be disconnected to the natural world all the while showing us just how meaningful and important the natural world is to us. Never has a fictional sci fi film been able to do this so well. Avatar is by far the most impressive and meaningful film I've watched in a long time, maybe ever.

gorgeous movie, intense artwork here--i as amazed by the creative talent it must have required. some people may be uncomfortable with the theme, but let's be honest--this not the first movie about corporate greed and militarism verses native peoples and natural resources. to the haters out there--here is a reason there are movies like this folks--there is some truth to them. the overall message has nothing to do with "new age" -- it will resonate with anyone who has compassion and conscious bones in their body.

My goodness, James Cameron directed "Avatar, The Last Airbender" for the Nickelodion TV network? Wow! What a huge career-step in the wrong direction for the once mighty director of Titanic! What's next for the struggling director? A live-action/CG version of "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood"? I can see Leonardo DiCaprio cast as the wussy, effeminate pre-school hero. I mean, why not? If you can believe he was Howard Hughes, you can believe him as ANYBODY!

TO THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE: you guys are idiots. you guys got the wrong thumbnail pic. try actually searching for something instead of picking the first picture u see in google images. the avatar you're looking for is WAY different from the last airbender (which is in production, directed by Shyamalan, and is a live action movie based on the nickelodian tv show).
