This is a quasi-doc**entary film by Clio Bernard about the Bradford playwright Andrea Dunbar. The film is very good and i highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. It examines Dunbar’s work as well as personal life and it is shot in a very interesting way. The film also explores how Dunbar’s death affected her children, especially Lorraine who chose a very self-destructing path. I love the way director made the actors lip-synch to audio interviews with Dunbar’s family and friends, it made the film very interesting and different. Overall, it is a great film that is definitely worth seeing.
