This is a drama about a lesbian couple who adopt a child illegally, because one of the woman poses as a man. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I think the story is interesting and definitely an important one but the way the film was shot and directed was not good. There were too many things going on and in the end the main message was lost somewhere. Elissa Goldstein and Candice Holdorf did a good job but it was not amazing or memorable in any way. The film was not thrilling or particularly interesting and I was disappointed because it is about such an important issue.
