I really enjoyed this movie. It was funny, family oriented, and it was appropriate for kids as well as adults. The animation in 3-D was awesome! I have to admit, this was the first 3D movie I have enjoyed in a while. I would go see "Ice Age" even if I didn't have kids!
I am a 45-year-old man with two young daughters, 5 and 3. I am writing this review for parents.
The kids loved this movie. It was substantially better than the last (Yawwwnnn) Ice Age. This one had a lot more adventure. My daughters were laughing out loud and very excited. The dinosaurs were "scary," but not enough to make kids cry. Rather, it kept the kids on the edge of their seats. Perfect for kids.
From an adult's standpoint, this is a C movie. If a kid's movie is good enough that I don't fall asleep, then it's fine. If you are going to this movie without kids, see another movie. It's not good enough for adults to watch without kids.
