If you are behind the curve on what the multinational corporations are doing to our food production, consumption, etc. then this is the movie for you. However, if you are up on the current issues, don't expect to hear/see anything that you haven't already. You may be mildly disappointed. The film scratches the surface on many issues, without digging too deep, or being too graphic. I gather some will be completely shocked by the issues that are demonstrated.
Enjoyed the simple lighthearted approach to 'what you can do..'
This is the most important film of the year. It's a must see for everyone who eats. The filming was professional and well done, as was the story line. The information , of course, is what is most important about the film, and it was very accurate. Even though I knew a lot of it already, there were things I learned, too.

The best film I can imagine about what we eat. Like King Corn, it moves along quickly, is full of amazing facts, and not just the usual PETA gross out details. This is a call to personal action, and the film clearly states how we can save ourselves from the corrosive effects of a food industry looking only for profit, and shockingly removed from any concern about our health. First in a series of great films coming out that could activate a public already slammed by greedy corporate barons and corrupt legislators. Look for 'The Yes Man Save the World' and 'No Impact Man' next. See this first... Really. Do.
