5 Star Day Movie Reviews

I did not understand the point of this film at all, maybe I am just not smart enough for this film or maybe the director was not sure what he was doing with this film. Anyway, I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters because this film is pretentious and boring. The film was very uneven and directionless and most of the time I had no idea why the main character was doing the things he was doing, a lot of times his actions were not logical at all. The ending of the film sucks big time and I was almost angry because after all the stuff that happens in the film, the ending is very weak and disappointing.
I am still not sure if I liked this film, it was a bit confusing and a lot of times it did not make much sense but in the same time it had a beautiful message. I thought that all the actors in the film did a great job and had a lot of charm(I especially liked the lead played by Cam Gigandet) but in the same time I thought that their charm was used to disguise that fact that the film had a split personality. Some scenes in the film are beautifully made and work perfectly and other scenes make no sense and make you want to roll your eyes, I guess what I am trying to say is that the film is uneven in its tone. Overall, i think the movie will appeal to a selected audience and some people will absolutely love it.
This is a drama about one man’s journey to disprove the theory of astrology and on that journey he finds out much more than he bargained for, the film is directed by Danny Buday and stars Cam Gigandet, Jena Malone and Julianna Guill. I thought this film was alright but I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters because it is not worth the price of the ticket. The film had a great message and there was something very gentle and kind about the tone of the film, however I found it a bit boring and dull. A lot of actions by the main character are not logical and make no sense and the film left me a bit confused and a bit angered. Overall, this film is not for everyone but who knows, you might love it.
