For the 2 people who reviewed above me. If you don't like violent movies then don't see a movie that the first one is famous for violence and then complain about it in a review, seriously that's just stupid. Now for the review, if you love fighting and gore then see this movie, you will not be dissapointed. The visuals were spectacular and the fighting stopped just at the right times for a little talking then it went right back in to the action. The acting was not bad at all and definitely did not disappoint.
I went to see this film with a group of my friends and we all had very different opinions about it. It really depends on what kind of films you enjoy watching and it is hard to review films that are a certain genre, especially if you don’t like that genre. I will try to review this film leaving my biased aside, because I really do not enjoy films in this genre. Well, the film was definitely entertaining and full of action and I thought that the acting was pretty good. I especially enjoyed Eva Green’s performance, she was terrifying and sexy in the same time. I did think that this film was way too violent and gory but I can not hold that against it because that is the genre of the film and some of my friends absolutely loved that aspect of it. Overall, if you don’t like violence, don’t see this movie, however, if you enjoyed the previous film, I can almost guarantee that you will like this one.
I did not want to see this film because it looked very violent and I do not enjoy watching gore and blood on the big screen. I also was not a fan of the first film, so I really had no reason to see this one except for my boyfriend who pretty much begged me to go with him. Well I did not like this film, just like I expected and I do not think it is worth seeing on the big screen. I felt that the film was strictly created for men and people who like extreme gore and violence. There was almost no story and the non-stop action and violence tired me out and made me annoyed. I do have to say that Eva Green did a pretty amazing job with her role, she was terrifying and captivating, I just wish I saw her in a different film. My boyfriend, on the other hand, loved this film and couldn’t stop talking about it for hours, which proves my point that this film was created for men.
I was really excited to see this film on the big screen because I loved the first one and the trailers looked awesome. I am glad to say that the film was everything that I thought it will be and more. The movie was extremely entertaining, full of great action, and amazing acting, basically it was perfect in my eyes. I do have a warning, if you do not like violence and gore, do not see this film because it is full of it. Personally, I loved all of that because it was part of the story and it suits this film. We saw the film in 3D and I recommend spending the extra cash for it, it was totally worth it. Eva Green was my favorite character, she rocked this role and I was very impressed with her performance. Overall, if you were the fan of the first film, I guarantee that you will also love this one.
This is not a movie that I would usually choose to see, but my friend wanted to see it and I have to say that the trailers looked good so I went along with him. The film is very violent, bloody, and full of gore and all those things in my mind are horrible and I usually don’t like movies that have that. However, I enjoyed watching this film and I am surprised by it. The movie was extremely entertaining and amazing visually and I pretty much fell in love with Eva Green, she was incredible. I do wish it was a bit less gory, but I understand why it was and it worked for this film. Overall, if you liked the previous film, this one will not disappoint as well.
