I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. This American remake was completely unnecessary and really really bad, i wish i did not see it and did not waste my money and time. The production value of this new film was way better than the original but i preferred the black and white feel of the original film. This new film lost all of the tension and you can not have a thriller without tension. The film has a very impressive cast and I bet they were excited for this film, they must be pretty disappointed now just like i was. Overall, I would suggest to rent the original film instead of watching this one. -
This is a drama about a young man who assumes a dead man’s identity and finds himself involved with bad people who do bad things, the film is directed by Géla Babluani and stars Jason Statham, Alexander Skarsgård and Mickey Rourke. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. This American remake is not worth seeing at all and i do not understand why Géla Babluani decided to remake it, i think it was a big mistake. There was no tension, no mystery of the previous film, this movie was full of big stars and it had better production value but it felt flat. Overall, if you saw the original film i would suggest staying away from this one and if you have never seen the original film i urge not to see this one either.
