Talk about ingenuity, this movie takes the bizarre and unique to a whole new level, and then just when you're ready to settle in, it decides to go to an even deeper and crazier level of crazayzy!!! Two brother run an organic fertilizer company. Their secret ingredient is (gulp) freshly dead bodies, usually picked up on the side of the road of an accident that just occurred. Of course, they have to do this on the sly since it's ILLEGAL to say the least. But they do have a big order to fulfill so they decide to go about and find some bodies. Anything for a buck, eh? The story takes a hilarious twist when one of the brothers starts to fall for one of their intended victims. One become motivated by lust, the other is motivated by profit and greed. Pretty soon they're both each other's worst enemies and the insane ending arrives before you know it. It's as twisted a movie as you'll see in your lifetime. Hysterical.
As Sheldon Cooper would say in utter exasperation: "Subtextually, of course! Just have fun with it!!!" That's what happens in this movie where the gore of ghoulish movies gets turned into a surprisingly fun romp through a bloodfest. The brothers who created this movie - Colin and Cameron Cairnes - do an amazing job not only as actors but as writers and directors who turn what would have been just another scream and gore flick into something far more palatable. The best thing I can say about this movie (and I can't even believe I'm saying it since I generally hate horror flicks) is that I would actually watch it again. It does have moments of gore and blood but it's so over the top and ridiculous that you can't take its seriously. So even the squeamish out there can take heart that they can enjoy it. Good fun with good screams.
