Tommy Lee Jones Sues Over 'No Country'
Actor Tommy Lee Jones has filed a lawsuit against Paramount Pictures
and its subsidiary involved in the production of No Country for Old
Men, according to an AP story published in Variety. Jones’ lawsuit
alleges that he was promised “significant box-office bonuses” to
compensate for a reduced upfront fee for his appearance in the film.
While the Oscar winner was a hit, making over $160 million, Jones
hasn’t received a penny. He wants an auditor to review financial
records and decide how much he is owed, and anticipates it will be
over $10 million.—Movietimes.com Movie News Bureau
