Tyler Posey (born October 18, 1991) is an American actor and musician. Posey was born in Santa Monica, California, the son of actor John Posey (best known for playing Danny Tanner in an early Full House pilot) and wife Cyndi Garcia. He resides in Santa Clarita, California and has two brothers, Jesse and Derek. His heritage is Mexican, Native American, Irish and English. He attends Hart High School in Santa Clarita, California. Working steadily in film and television for the last decade, Posey is also the front man of the band Close to Disaster, where he sings and plays guitar. He has been cast in the MTV television series remake of Teen Wolf. Yahoo cites him as the next Taylor Lautner.
